How to use body shimmer for a soft, golden glow

Body shimmer is the simplest way to make skin catch the light. A little goes a long way, and where you place it matters more than how much you use.
Here's how we like to wear it, from prepping your skin to the finishing touch.
1. Start with smooth skin
Shimmer sits most evenly on soft, smooth skin. Polish in the shower with a scrub, then rinse and pat dry.
The Gold Body Scrub pairs Himalayan salt and sugar with nourishing oils and gold leaf, so it's an easy first step for legs, arms and shoulders.
2. Hydrate first
Smooth on moisturiser or body oil before shimmer, so skin looks supple underneath. Let it sink in for a moment before the next step.
Gold Shimmer Body Oil is a weightless, dry-touch oil with marula, jojoba and rosehip. It absorbs fast and already carries suspended gold flakes, so on relaxed days it can be your only glow step.
3. Place shimmer where light lands
Think of the high points of the body: collarbones, the tops of the shoulders, décolletage, and down the front of the shins. These are the places that naturally catch the light.
With the Heart Shimmer Puff, sweep lightly across collarbones, shoulders, décolletage and legs. The shimmer is held inside the velvet puff, so there's no jar to open. Keep using it until its shimmer is finished; it is not refillable.
4. Finish with a mist
For a last veil of light, mist over face, shoulders and collarbones. Shimmering Gold Mist combines rose water, electrolytes and suspended gold pigments. It refreshes skin and sets makeup, leaving a barely-there gilded sheen.
Glow looks for every occasion
Wedding or formal event: keep it soft. A light sweep on the collarbones and shoulders photographs beautifully without looking obvious. Finish with a mist to set your makeup.
Beach and summer days: a body oil with gold flakes on the legs and shoulders gives an easy sun-kissed look. Remember your sunscreen first.
Night out: build a little more shimmer on the décolletage and shoulders, where candlelight and evening light will find it.
Quick tips
Start with less, then build. Blend edges with clean fingertips. Always follow the directions on each product's packaging, and patch test anything new.
